Nodal Engineering Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2009 as a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, and has worked since then with government agencies, development partners, local governments, private organisations and communities across Nepal.

The practice covers the full life of a project. We identify and appraise schemes, carry out the surveys and investigations they rest on, prepare feasibility studies and Detailed Project Reports, design the structures, write the tender documents and bills of quantities, and supervise construction through to the completion certificate. Environmental and social studies, valuation work and digital systems are delivered by the same office rather than subcontracted, so a project does not have to be handed between firms at every stage.

Our team brings together engineers, planners, architects, environmental specialists, economists, GIS experts and registered valuers. That range is deliberate: most of the problems worth solving in Nepal's infrastructure sit between disciplines — a road that has to cross a river, a heritage site that has to take visitors, a settlement that has to sit on a slope.

Work is delivered to Nepal Government norms and to the technical requirements of the funding agency, whichever is stricter. Every design is costed, so a client knows what a decision costs before committing to it, and every report states its assumptions and its risks plainly.
