About the project
A compact settlement layout organised around a single circulation loop. The roundabout at the centre carries a monument and doubles as the turning head for the whole scheme, so no plot needs a separate access road.
Plots are set around the loop with their frontages onto it, and the perimeter wall and gate give the settlement a defined edge — which matters on a site where the boundary would otherwise be ambiguous.
